Exotic Sonoran Woods offers cholla and other materials, perfect for interior design, furniture, landscaping, crafts, reptile tanks, and similar purposes.
There are three grades.
Grade A is furniture grade. It’s cut from standing cacti with no rot.
Grade B is artist grade.
Grade C is for crafts, reptile tanks, and similar purposes.
Grade A
Grade A is extremely strong, thick-walled wood optimum for furniture, retail displays, and landscape.
Grade B
Grade B is artist grade. It’s more ornate and defined than grade A, however, its thinner walls give it less structural strength.
It’s optimum for inlays and furniture since it can be molded and flattened with steam.
Grade C
Grade C is ideal for craft use and in reptile habitats. It’s harvested from fallen wood and is in a 100-percent-natural state.
Fumigation
Wood grades A and B come from standing dead cactus which are then debarked, pressure washed and fumigated for termites with PermethrinGrade C.
Grade C is left untreated so that it’s safe for use in reptile and other animal exhibits.
